Mr. Rease Is Out

Mr. Rease was absent today, so it was a pretty chill day. We had a substitute, so we just sat quietly until class was over.

Three Body Paragraphs

Today was another normal day in class. The najority of class was spent writing three body paragraphs on a prompt we were given. I was not in class yesterday, so I dont know if the prompt was discussed already. Nevertheless, I feel like i did a good job answering the prompt woth three paragraphs. It feels like it is getting easier to answer these prompts the more we do it but I still find that I have trouble finding the appropriate pieces of evidence to use. This will be fixed in time I am sure of it.

Oaklawn Cementary Cleanup

Today was a pretty interesting day. I did not attend class today because of another field trip. Today we went to Oaklawn Cementary, a cementary for veterans, and helped clean up. Most of my time out there was spent picking up trash and moving chopped down trees. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed my time out there and I am glad I went and got to be a part of something like that. I know it means alot to the families' of the people buried there that we came out and did what we did today.

Process of Elimination Part 2

Today in class, we looked at the process of elimination more. We looked at a passage from an old AP exam and answered the multiple choice questions associated with it. Our answers were actually graded today and we got to see where we stood. Its safe to say we did miserably and still need work on the skill. I want to work on it more because it will be helpful to me in the long run.
