Today was another normal day of online learning. Today we learned about irony. I remembered most of this from my previous English classes but it was nice to have a refresher on the material. Today marks the middle of another week in quarantine and it is very boring as usual. Mostly everything is still closed but tomorrow is the day that things are supposed to start slowly reopening. This is a highlight in the life of someone in quarantine.

Today was another normal day of online learning. Today's lesson focused on incorporating commentary in a rhetorical analysis. Going into this lesson, I thought I had this concept down pretty good, but I learned that there was a lot I could improve on. I learned jus what was needed for the commentary and how it should be incorporated into my writing and I feel that it will improve my overall writing skills if I follow what the lesson taught me today. You truly learn something new every day.

Today was another normal day of online learning. It was a pretty smooth lesson today. The lesson was about finding appropriate pieces of evidence to support a claim in a rhetorical analysis essay. This was pretty easy to me with the passage we had. I am so ready for the world to reopen.

Today was a chill day of online learning. I Didn’t have as much work today so I mainly took the day to relax. I do have an online test to complete which is the first test in the online format. I am not too worried about it because it seems like it will be easy.

Today was another normal day of online. Today’s lesson focused on developing our body paragraphs for a rhetorical analysis essay. This lesson helped me remember how to do it because I already am pretty familiar with writing body paragraphs for a rhetorical analysis essay. We reviewed the basics needed to construct the paragraph and that is what jogged my memory. Overall a good lesson.

Today was another normal day of online learning. Today’s lesson focused on finding the line of reasoning for our rhetorical analysis essay. The lesson went pretty smooth and the concept was easy to understand. I am so ready for this corona virus situation to be over because I am in desperate need of a hair cut.

We focused on not just creating a good conclusion but a great one that was sophisticated as well. We learned the elements needed for a conclusion and practiced writing our own. It was an overall smooth lesson today.

Today was another normal day of online learning. The focus of the lesson today was writing our thesis statement for a rhetorical analysis. The video we watched showed us the difference between a good thesis statement and a great thesis statement and how to make our thesis statements great. This was what I really needed because the thesis statement is what I struggle with when writing a rhetorical analysis. I am now going to find more help on my own to identify the rhetorical strategies better in a given work.

Today was another normal day of home-schooling. I managed to wake up pretty early again to start my work, but I took a nap halfway through. The focus of Mr. Rease’s lesson today was crafting introductions for a rhetorical analysis. I enjoyed today’s lesson because I was able to actually put my skills to the test when I composed my introduction for the given prompt. I feel like the notes I took from the video we watched really helped me create a nice introduction.

Today was a normal day of home-schooling. I woke up early this morning and got straight to work. For Mr. Rease’s class, the lesson was mainly about the rhetorical situation of a given text. We went over a few terms dealing with rhetoric and rhetorical analysis as well. I am liking the online format a little more than normal school because it is moving at my pace and I can understand the material more. I am still anxiously waiting for the quarantine to be over.

Today was our first official day of online school. It was not as bad as I expected it to be. We were just given our lesson to go over and completed some activities that go with the lesson. After today, I dont think the rest of this school year is going to be too bad honestly.

I honestly forgot how many have gone by of quarantine due to the corona virus. Every day seems the same now and it is very boring. Nothing but the walls; it feels like I am in prison. It is estimated that the corona virus issue is about to peak and the quarantine will not end very soon. This is not fun at all.
